I told myself if I did good in school this semester, got a 3.0 or higher, that I would treat myself to some welcome knife buying as long as it was $40 or less. I had my eye on a few knives from the Bay, and I got them both. I got my favorite pattern, the Large Stockman. A Schrade Walden 8OT. Has only a little blade wear. Needs a good cleaning. This is my second 8OT, but third in that pattern from Schrade. I got it for a steal I think. Here it is...

Now the next knife really interests me. It is one that I have been searching for for a while but can never find in the price range I could afford. Well this one was just amazing. Its unfinished, so it will be a project for myself, but I am really looking foreward to getting it. A large Camillus made Carbon V Cold Steel Stockman. As soon as I looked at it and saw the price I bought it.

I cant wait to get them. This is gonna be fun!!!

That old 8OT has a lot of life left in it. I'd say you did good...
Match strike pulls too

Almost forgot, congrats on the good grades

Very nice!!

Congrats on the grades this semester. Very nice knives. I would hold off on doing anything with the CS stockmen. The CS knife could be a real collectible, because they tend to be rare. Those knives are called "lunchbox" knives. They are called lunchbox knives, because that's how people in the factory got them out. Manufactures flip out when they see "lunchbox" knives online. Enjoy.

God Bless

I didn't even think of that. I though it was a left over from when Camillus shut down. Interesting. Ill have to wait and see though for the stockman. Maybe it would be useful to wait and fix up. I could hold off on it or trade it for something.

And I'm very excited about the 8OT. Its such a great pattern and knife. I might fix it up, and give it to my dad for Christmas since I have one. Well see how it goes.

Great snag on the Old Timer. That has some really great Carbon blades on it.

Ya did good! Schrade 80Ts are one of my fave stockman patterned knives (esp. w/ matchstrike pulls). Gets as much pocket time as my prettier knives.
