Because it looks like that filthy, rotten, Photopoint has bellied up yet again I'm having to turn one thread into two so I can get pix posted here in the forum. The pix you see is the traditional style.
========================================

Here's one of the reasons I drink more Heineken than I should.

I ordered two Bob Kenny bolo models. What I got were these four puukos with Bob Kenny's name on them. And some people wonder why I drink as much as I do. The answer is easy. It is to maintain what little sanity I have remaining.

Actually, these knives are replicas of wood models sent to BirGorkha to be made for a customer in NC who had a special job he wanted these knives to do.

The top model is an interesting design. It has one flat side and one side with edge. I'm not sure what the job for this knife was to be but it might make a good filet knife.

The bottom model is more traditional -- edges on both sides!

These knifes are 8.5 inches oal with about equal handle and blade length and weigh about 6 oz.. KNN made these and he has done a very good job. Although the pix show black marks on the blade that look like pits this is not the case in real life. These are 10/10 efforts in all categories. Very, very good fit and finish by KNN.

The scabbards are a little to big it seems to me but if you have a needle and some kite string it's an easy fix.

The price is $50 each delivered to your door in time for Christmas.

Call or email if interested

Uncle, those are some cool knives :). I wonder how the Bob Kenny Bolo's got mixed up with these Puukos. Very strange. I'm just glad mine didn't show up right now cause Christmass has zapped all my extra cash.

Actually it isn't strange at all -- it's the norm.

They are not even close to my Bolo.:eek:
Maybe it's the kamis who are drinking too much.;)

I've got an idea: If we asked for some Puukos maybe they will send us some Bolo's :D
