Last few years I've posted a few pics of our Christmas rush projects and then joked about heading to Cancun. Well this year we did get all our projects done but still ain't made Cancun. Heck it was snowing sideways here yesterday, Cancun don't sound too bad.
Cutting table covered in things to do:
Course not everything always goes to plan. We fought this blue thread on this belt and wasn't digging it on the matching sheath. Ended up throwing both away and starting over and used good old fashioned white thread:
White thread on the same project rocked. Not exactly a Christmas order but ya have to do your regular stuff too:
Had two belt and sheath orders at the same time, both from BF members:
I finished 51 knives for those sheaths that were on the cutting table. Twenty were in stock and went on the website. They lasted a day before being sold out. Here's a few of them:
Got all the sheaths done for these guys. Here's some of em:
Had some to do for other knives besides my own too. I highly recommend reading the entire order form. That way you don't make the sheath for wrong side first and have to tell the wife she needs to re carve the sheath, she already carved because you saw right hand, not right hand small of the back, which is a left hand sheath by our normal crossdraw nomenclature. Guy got two sheaths for the price of one:
Knives and sheaths all done, sold and shipped, I started in on just leather orders:
Scoped Rifle Scabbard for a Mod 70:
Regular rifle scabbard in roughout:
Had two pair of leggings to do. One pair shipped without any pics but this pair were for our friend Salty. We gave them to them one evening when we'd finished roping a few calves that needed processing, dang it was cold:
A couple of pair of spur straps:
A hand full of these guys:
A couple of these guys:
And finally, a couple roundknives and their sheaths:
Phew! When does that flight for Cancun leave?
Questions and comments always welcome. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
