Photobucket is having a technical problem and can't see pix,
I will try to fix the pix later

It seems like Chiruwa Sirus are showing up routinely in DOTDs now and it started the exact day I got the ones in that I custom ordered.

I absolutely love those knives and I hope that I played a part in them becoming a regular offfering.

Email sent on Tiger Eye necklace.

Darn, I've been reading the HI forum all day, and I didn't know these were posted. The best stuff sells quick! The bashpati and the sirupati are the ones I would have picked. I guess it's all good, I'm not sure yet what I want next anyway, but everyone else seems to be quite sure :)

Either way, it looks like the full tang chiruwa handles are what people want. They're definitely the way to go if you don't mind the extra weight and sacrificing a little forward mass for chopping ability. In exchange you get better balance and speed. My WWII has a non-chiruwa handle, so it's a chopper. I have to choke up onto the blade to gently cut fruit with it.

I just noticed the tin chirra is a full tang chiruwa, and the bashpati was from Rajkumar. How is the tin chirra different from an ang khola?

The Tin Chirra has 3 fullers, an AK normally has only 1.

What is the practical difference with more fullers?

1. Lighter weight for a given size. 2. Beauty.

I'm having a hard time resisting the Tin Chirra by Tirtha posted above. I hope it gets marked sold before I cave.
