That is one great looking Jola:thumbup: If i were buying for myself I'd be all over it.

That's also a very interesting bowie. Different, but tempting :)

That is an interesting looking Bowie, Steely_Gunz. Nice streaks through that horn, too. Yangdu has another great selection up today. Nice Chainpuri by Sher.

Arghh, that Chainpuri look NOICE.....must resist. I've spent enough money on knives in the last few months that I could have gotten a generator!

It wouldn't have had anywhere near the "Wow" effect, though.

Really like the Lok Bowie but would need to read a review to help with the purchase decision.

The big curved belly looks good but I wonder if the blade could be a tad short overall, especially interested in where its point of balance would be?

I hope who ever buys it posts their impressions.

Hello Yangdu!

Sorry I had the option to recieve email from members turned off (Fixed now), can you please resend the paypal payment information for the 15.5 inch 29 ounce villager? Either to the subscribed email in this forum or to the one included in my email sent to you.

Thanks in advance for your great service!

During the DOTD 11/20 I purchased the Sher Chainpuri much like this one being offered here. The Chainpuri is a FANTASTIC knife. This one should make someone very happy!

Hi Yangdu!

I haven't recieved the information about where to send paypal payment to any of my two email accounts, not sure If my email message sent thru bladeforums is getting to you or not, or if I scored the 15.5 inch 29 ounce villager I was hoping for. Can I have some kind of confirmation either by email or on this tread please?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Paypal payment has been sent!

Thanks so much! Let me know when you have shipped.

Neat, the Lok bowie sort of reminds me of a Nepali pangot.

After searching for what a Pangot looked like, I agree with you.;)

I really like the design of Lok's Bowie, and I would have no hesitation in getting one if it had a longer blade length.

I ordered the Jola on the 10th..... I got it today! Along with my bamboo cutter, which is an awesome blade. I haven't played with it yet, but, that will come.

+ 1 on the review request.

A 6" blade with a 1/2" spine . . . sounds like it would be nearly indestructible, but I'd like to hear how it chops and slices . . . and how it feels in the hand.
