Do all UBEs have such a dramatically upswept tip, or is this one unique?

All UBE's has that upswept recurve at the end. It's one badass blade. I got a custom one made by Tirtha, and it is awesome.

I like that CAK, looks like an M43 style handle. The Gelbu is a nice one too with that super deep fuller.

The Kobra is screaming my name and the Gelbu is trying to outshout it.

Focus on restraint bawanna. Deep breaths. In with the good, out with the bad, in with the good, out with the bad, this isn't helping one bit.

Killer Gelbu!
I was noticing that too Scara. That tip looks a bit more pronounced. Deep fuller too. Man Tirtha sure has them fullers down right!

Yeah, it's dramatic enough that if you put a guard on that one, it would qualify as a true Bowie, at least according to the Wikipedia definition of dramatic clip point, large size and crossguard. I rather like it.

I am really digging that Gelbu and Reti, but I'm pretty toothless right now, and if I do decide to get them, the missus may very well make me homeless as well...lol

this will make my third reti steve, totally willing to deal with you if you are looking( as in just say the word and I will pass )

thanks Gehazi, it's yours... I was "just admiring" the reti and had already ruled out buying it.

they are really cool knives, I thought the "fish scale" the files leave on the blades was an intentional artistry it looks so nice in person, anyone who can get one I say get one ! I wish I had your restraint sir :D

That UBE is gorgeous. I've lusted after one for over a decade:P Too broke to bite right now thought:(

Ems on kobra and flute. I don't have a kobra yet, my brother is going to kill me because I plan on giving my 4 year old nephew the flute for Christmas
