Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Festivus, or which ever you celebrate. This was delivered yesterday, Dec 24th. I couldn't wait till this morning to open it as I'm actually working 12 hrs today. I was so pumped to receive it. I've been carrying my small tanto Seb for the last couple weeks, but have been missing a large. I've wanted a large micarta inlayed for a while for daily carry but couldn't decide if I wanted to pay extra for Damascus. Well, as it turned out, I found the deal. The CRK shop seems to really have been putting extra attention to detail in their fit an finish lately. Every detail of this knife is flawless. Extra strong detent, 50% lockup, and even the jimping is nice and aggressive! Every Seb I get is almost scary sharp, but for whatever reason, this one seems sharper. I don't why; maybe the Damascus? Anyhow, fantastic!

Wow! Stunner! I think the weaving in the Micarta goes GREAT with the ladder damascus, congrats!
 
Thanks Lisa. I've been ooggling over your YouTube vids lately. I've had a few Damascus Sebs over the years. Down to just 2 now. Guess my total dream Seb will never be made. Large annual inlayed with carbon fiber and topped off with River of Fire Damascus? Oh well, I'm still blessed to be able to afford these things!

ok love the knife but i have to ask, what is the mark under the pocket clip on the lock bar side? is that just the picture or is that something new chris is doing?

I'm seeing something on the back of the thumbstud on the locking side. Is that a just a dimple, some sort of decoration or something else entirely ?
 
hey blackend, does this sebenza have "idaho made",if it does it must be very faint. but it could be my eyes.....
 
Thx again. The cutouts next to the pocket clip are an offset for the lock bar. The placement of them have been changed throughout the years. It does have Idaho Made on it, but with the bead blasting of the frame, it's very faint. Kinda cool. I'm really liking this knife. I removed the lanyard but kept the holder in place, and the pocket clip is already scratched from my seatbelt. So it's officially a user.

Haze. The new thumbstuds are milled out in the back now. I like the new touch, it plays off the Damascus nicely.
Rolexkid. Plaza cutlery has small micartas in stock. Check em out!
