Some Opinels for my father-in-law, my two brothers-in-law, and one for myself :)
Also, I'm still waiting on a Junior for my nephew (I got approval from his father)

Are you giving some knives as gifts? if so, what models?

 
A few Rough Riders for the family this year. We set a low price limit this year (the holidays are really more of family time for us) so it's good quality stuff that has a bit of visual flair and doesn't go over the limit. :)

Gerber Gator Machete for the neighbor. Kershaw Lifter for my brother and brother in law,
 
case stag bone copperlock for the step dad. Hes a traditional kind of guy. If my new brother in law shows up for Christmas ill get him something more modern.
 
Probably not other than a couple for myself. They most likely will be my only gifts. Pretty much have everything I need within reason. Then again.... Christmas is not about "need" necessarily.

If I were giving knife gifts to someone who might need some broadening of their knife use, I would probably be thinking machete since most people end up in a hardware store somewhere and buy a rather inexpensive machete with a crappy sheath or no sheath and discover they really don't like using it because it hurts or doesn't cut, and they can't sharpen it.

You might need long stockings however.
