Does that 20% discount also apply to knives that are on sale?

Also, I recently picked up a Tornado on the secondary market. I am quite happy with it; even the sheath was nice. American's don't typically favor recurve blades, although the Tornado's design is less pronounced than many. Also, I wasn't sure that the square-ish thumb rest and choil would be comfortable, but they are sized well for me. Many of non-military ROS Arms blades are thinner than the US Market prefers, but the Tornado's 3.2mm thickness is excellent -- the blade is very stiff, but the knife is lighter and easier to carry than one might expect for a knife that size. The handle is leather and Micarta (again; most of mine are) -- it's comfortable, but one of these days I'm going to have to get at least one of your birch/Micarta handles for comparison.

Just made my first ROSarms purchase.

It's a gift for my dad.

I got the Sting with decorated blade. I think it'll go nicely with his Brusletto collection.

I still plan to place an order to take advantage of the Christmas discount, but due to other expenditures (mainly from last month, but they shipped and were charged on this month), I want to get on the other side of my billing cycle. Since the discount continues into January, that shouldn't be a problem. I bought a couple knives last year with the Christmas discount (I believe that's when I got my first Super-Federal and a nodule-handled Chieftain), it makes a difference and was appreciated.

you still have 8 days for Christmas discount :)

Irish Sentry took care of me; I'll be getting a pair of birch handled Messer-2s and an Artibash. I considered several of the other small blades, but ended up liking the Messer-2 best.

I was also tempted to buy a Raccoon, but didn't (at least not yet). The spine cutouts look like they'd work very well for either the thumb or for holding the knife with your index finger extended along the blade. I've held a Busse GrooveMaster, which has similar cutouts; while they look odd, it's actually quite a nice feature for usability.

Ted I will honor it till then because you have been a very loyal customer.

Wow, thanks. I'll be getting the ermak and the fry with bark handle. Still waiting for the khukri and will probably get a baby later this year.

We try to take care of our customers, but the best I can do is the ninth. If anyone else wants something let me know. If we have it, we will help you.

Remember guys the ninth is it.....I cannot go beyond that, that is two days past our Russian Orthodox Christmas (Nativity).

Ted if you say you want them I will have them set aside, I know we are almost out of Ermak. I also know you will buy what you say you will buy.

Jnphares have you looked at the Ray model? Kind of strange looking but feels great in the hand....

I will definitely get the Ermak and the Fry on Friday. Thanks

I looked at the Ray, but its blade proportions are a bit wider for the length than I prefer -- it looks "stubby" to me. I searched and saw good comments from a couple members who own Rays, but I just don't think it's quite right for me. I decided to place a second order though, this time for a Raccoon and a pair of those birch bark Sting-SEs. Thanks again for the Russian Orthodox Christmas discount.

Guys the 2 day extension I gave you ends today. Thank you to all who participated with either Kancler of me on the sale...Merry Christmas a couple days late!
