The SFNO did, pretty well, it works as a chopper but good lord a FSH/FBM really does out perform it. The fusion handles really help on the other knives I think, along with the additional blade length/heft/forward weight. However, that being said, I still think the SFNO is the best all around knife.
It's still just as sharp, no edge damage and everything cleaned up nicely with a lil WD40.

looks like the sfno took a very deep bite into that wood......very surprising, given the heft, or lack thereof, of the blade.....

You know, that's what impressed me. The first bite into the tree was like that. Super deep. And you're right too, it's takes some doing to chop with this knife making it even more impressive that it just sinks right in like that. A lanyard would have helped though I think.
It looks even better dirtied up than new! Great all-around blade it would seem.
She's a beaut clark!
Dang sap though, such a pain to clean.

it's all about the blade geometry. the SFNO has a surprisingly thin edge (though not too thin. it's perfect for an all around knife)

good to see someone use their LE

Yes! An LE user! Thanks for the pics. That shore looks sweet!

I can't wait to break mine in this weekend. I may post some comparisons between it and th e fatty.

Goo-Be-Gone cleaned up my FBMLE in seconds after I chopped up last year's Christmas Tree...
