Last week we've had the huge pleasure to have our friend RayseM RayseM at home.
He came with great gifts as two beautiful bakelite pearls necklaces ( he knew we share a great interest for beads) but also with a beautiful Kutmaster stockman from Charlie waynorth waynorth and complet Uncle Henry stockman with its box and warranty from Duncan Campbellclanman Campbellclanman .

WHAT A CHRISTMAS !!!!!! 😍

Thanks so much to Ray ,his great kindness and impeccable manners, to my friends Charlie and Duncan for these great gifts, and thank to the Porch for making this kind of exceptional event possible.

Looks like someone had a great Christmas. Big congrats on your gift.

Beads and knives & BERETS - we have all these in common and he even named his dog RAY (I'll let  explain that one :))

Just getting home tonight January 4 after 3 weeks in London and a most fantastic week with Jean-Marc and his lovely, happy family - the most generous, gracious and indomitable hosts you could find anywhere. The generous and gracious might be self evident from Jean-Marc's presence on BF but the indomitable not so obvious until one experiences their care, being guided all over Paris to museums after museums (that did not interest everyone ;)) up landmarks that have 100s of steps to reach the top and on a wicked cold open deck boat ride on La Seine to see the city at night. We waited in the cold, in the longest line I have ever stood in for any event and then for another hour on the boat so Ray could take photos of Paris at night.

Got more than a few good ones though ~

OH - and the gifts weren't really Christmas presents it just happened that I was there Christmas week.

Sadly there was something about my wi-fi connection in London that would not allow me to connect with Blade Forums - it was blocked - but not in Paris or now back home. Jean-Marc suggested I make my phone a hot spot when back in London but my final week there was active and filled with distractions so that I never had the chance to try that.

Anyway - here I am back in Maine (a bit long after Christmas) and can carry a knife with me everywhere again and talk to you all again. 🥳

I can't leave this post without a knife(ves) photo for the porch crowd. Made me smile to see that these were on the @ Âchillepattada Âchillepattada family table for every meal. Use your knives if you have them. Nice group for a nice group!

Happy New Year ALL.
