Christopher Costa ~ "Malachi"

Great photography, gorgeous damascus and extremely well made knife. The only thing that turns me off is the blade shape, and that's just me. I'm confident that others will find it very much to their liking.

that is a great Photo Caleb and a very cool and wild knife it looks like it cuts on both sides

Hey Pappy,

Those that will like this blade shape are likely not friends of mine, lol.

Photography is excellent as always.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

D Lisch, thanks and yes, it does cut on both sides. Pretty kool weapon.

I see barbwire, batman, ghosts, Satan and a cat in that steel. Its freaking me out. Pretty cool. Agreed on the blade shape and also the sharpened clip by the guard..?? That koa is on fire!

Edit- just saw a frog somewhere.

Extremely well executed, fit/finish look great, but just not getting that blade shape.
I imaging everything same except with a nice bowie blade profile with a nice clip and thinking WOW!!!!

Great mage Caleb!

It is obviously what a lot of folks here are not used to seeing. I would love to see it up close and hold it in my hand. I would also love to hear what the maker would envision being the primary use of this knife, if he had one in mind.

Thanks for sharing it here.

Thanks for all the comments everyone! I knew the blade shape wouldn't be everyones cup of tea, but for some reason it spoke to me on paper.

It was out of the box and pushed me in several directions. Learning how to forge my first blade was a blast!

The template started with a chopper design which trickled to a recurve and then a salting of fighter...for me you're left with a ... well... fighter chopper?

Basically great for chopping limbs and heads with some real nasty backcuts. Think of it as a "Zombie Chopper with Style."

So, clearly an everyday utensil. [emoji14]
