Chrome Polish on Anodized Ti and Acid Tumbled Blades?

Does anyone have any experience with this? I have used Turtle Wax chrome / metal polish on both and am wondering if it's safe for either.

Heavily oxidized acid washed blade:
Having observed the blade seemed to have gotten quite dark, it seemed to have lifted quite a bit of oxidation from the blade. I'm assuming acid tumbled blades continue to oxidize after they're treated (?)

Anodized handles:
Seems to have lifted excess oxidation and discoloration from the handles, but I'm not sure if this polish is ok for anodized surfaces. I suspect the color has lightened up a hair, but that may be as a result of the oxidation being removed.

Has anyone observed any adverse effects on similar surfaces?

To answer my own question...I realized that this type of chrome polish actually has a bit of fine abrasive in it. I would not recommend using this on any blades or anodized surfaces. I think I lucked out, in that I don't think I took off too much material from these surfaces, but did manage to put a matte finish on the blade, which doesn't look half bad.
