I have a big bar of green (I assume Chromium Oxide) compound for buffing. It is from the Matchless Co. I am wondering if Lee Valley's little bar is any different/better?

Thanks,

John

All of the green oxide bars are identical in cutting efficiency and vary primarily in the amount of lubrication incorporated into them. The drier the bar the faster it cuts, Lee Valley's is very dry, not waxy to the feel at all. Matcheless makes several formulations of green compound but any one should be pretty good.
