Chronograph recommendation please

I would like some recommendations for a good chronograph. This is for a watch I would wear daily and it needs to be reliable. Considering my price range (up to maybe $300), quartz is probably going to get the nod as opposed to manual wind. I use the chronograph frequently and it needs to work well with pushers that have a good feel to them. I have had a Seiko with the 7T32 movement and liked it, but it quite working after less than two years. I have two Citizens, one analog and one analog/digital. The analog works well, but the pushers only give good feedback on starting the chronograph, not stopping it. The digital works well, but when the analog hands cover the digits, it makes it difficult to read. I also need hands that are luminous and would like something that has an elegant look to it. I have considered a couple of Invicta’s and one called a Stuhrling. Any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks.

I have a Pulsar PF3189 Alarm Chronograph that I'm VERY pleased with...You might want to take a look at one of those.:).

Let me show you two that I've been eyeing up.

and his blue brother:

Partially because I have this and love it:

Personally, I will NOT buy an every day wear watch with a mineral crystal. Sapphire is a must. Date indicator is also a must, and while I'm talking about that, the perpetual feature of the above watch has absolutely spoiled me...
