I am happy with my selection and don't plan on expanding it without there being an introduction of a completely new model or an opportunity to buy an older model. This gives me enough to stay interested in my rotation. All of these knives are users, though some have seen a lot more use than others, and others will see much use in future when their turn comes. The Mnandi may stay a 'safe queen'....not sure yet. I have talked at some length on this forum about the knives in this collection that have seen a good amount of use, and not much about the ones I don't know as well, so I might still have a few things to say. A Damascus may be in my future, but think I have given enough coin to CRK for one lifetime, so might need good reason to go down that road.

Just thought it would be fun to share. If you can create a similar photo, please add to this thread! :)

Nice collection. Just curious what might be your overall favorite.

Beautiful picture. Lots of nice edc knives there. The Mnandi will carry fine. If it were mine, I would use it. I carried a mammoth Mnandi for almost a year and it still looked almost like new.

I would recommend getting a 'regular' Sebbie. It really is quite different from the Classic style.

Here is a pic of my 4 current CRKs. I have thinned the herd a LOT over the years. I regret every one of them.

Nice collection. Just curious what might be your overall favorite.

I like them all for many reasons. I know some of them a lot better than others. What I am doing right now is trying to carry each knife for at least a full month to really get to know it. February 2015 it has just been Ti-Lock. Next up I'm going to get back to a 21.

In all honesty, I think I started on the right foot with that large 21 micarta. It is for sure both a sentimental and functional favourite of mine. I also know that small knives are a good thing to carry so I am torn to say I have any one that stands above the rest. I need a small knife most days, but love the large ones.

For the record I was at my happiest when I just owned the 1st three, which made a perfect trio, but we know how that story goes. Curiosity killed the cat I guess :D

Very nice collection Congo. I also wonder what one is your fav. If you could only keep one?

BigJon likes micarta huh? Wonderful collection also.

My humble assortment.

Very nice collection. I purchased my first CRK about a month or so ago and have purchased a bunch since them. Unlike you though I haven't been able to keep them all. I have been buying different configs and different models just to see what I want to keep, then selling the rest.

So far ...

small Insingo (wish it was a double stud but I can add that later)
25 silver edition
large 21 - single stud which I got a good deal on then flipped to get something else
tanto Umnum - decided I don't like the Umnum so I sold it to get something else
large double stud 21
TiLock (not sure I'm digging this one - likely will flip it)
large tanto micarta 21 (not sure I'm going to like the micarta but figured I'd give it a try)

I like the idea of this thread!

My order has been Umnumzaan, V1 -> Large 21, raindrop damascus -> Box Elder Mnandi -> Nyala -> Small Insingo, carbon fiber scale.

I am currently eyeing the small 21 with micarta and basketweave, but what I really want is a small Regular with wood inlays. The 1999 California Buckeye Burl to be specific... If there's anyone out there with one...

Very nice collection! I will be posting a similar picture soon. I have my 8th CRK on order now. I will be taking a "family" picture when it arrives. But alas, the family will be broken up; I need to sell at least two to replenish the funds I borrowed from to purchase my last two CRKs.

btw - glad to see that you are carrying all of them....something I haven't been able to do.

Some beautiful collections here. Sadly all I've got is a lonely only child, plain lg. 21, right now. I have a feeling I might be adopting a micarta 25 soon though.

Really loving the photos submitted so far. It is interesting to see the purchase choices made and the common thread between these choices in folks collections. Nice families Jon and John, and looking forward to Vaporstangs pic.

I am seeing some of your knives with lanyards, some without and some with modified ones. Question: Are all of your knives in the end state you want? e.g., Any mods planned for any of them? double studs installed? lanyards? nuking? etc...

I am planning on a sending two of my knives in for double studs. I have some ideas for lanyards. Also, I know this crazy, nuking one of my clip inserts....

As always, a thoughtfull and intelligent thread Cody

You have some seriously nice knives!
I will see if I can snap some pics a bit later of my meager collection.

In just a couple of weeks... My first was....

1. Snakewood Mnandi (2nd hand but in excellent condition),
2. Umnumzaan (sold it, decided it is not for me),
3. Small Starbenza Wilson Combat (2nd hand but Super Mint)
4. Small Plane Jane Sebenza 21 (user bought in the Exchange/selling but don't mind keeping it),
5. Small Plane Jane Sebenza Insingo (I just Sold it earlier today),
6. Large Plane Jane Sebenza 21 (sold it a couple of weeks ago),
7. Large Micarta Inlayed Sebenza 21 (still have it, keeping it)
8. Small Micarta Inlayed Sebenza Insingo (2nd hand, keeping it)
9. Small Micarta Inlayed Sebenza 21 (new/old stock)
10. Ti-Lock (new/old stock)

I sold my Emersons in exchange for CRKs, still have a ZT 0562 Elmax and a ZT 0620CF coming, a PM2 Elmax, Sage 1 and 2 and Delica I am trying to sell so I can buy more CRKs...

This is an awesome thread! I'll have to see if I can recall all the ones I've owned. I started in July of 2013 and have traded/sold a few off.

Small plain 21 dbl lug (still got'er)
Sebenza 25 (still here)
Small carbon fiber insingo (sold)
Mnandi cocobolo (sold)
Large micarta insingo dbl lug (sold)
Small snakewood with DT basketweave (sold)
Small UG regular s30v (can't let a reg go!)
Large plain reg BG-42 (somehow everything else stays home since this guy came!)
Umfaan (sold it)

Some of them, like the Umfaan, make me wonder betimes why I sold them but if I don't use it I aint gonna keep it! I'm not the collecting type and I kind of went from one thing to the next trying to figure out what I liked! Only the insingo CF, 25, and the small plain 21 were purchased new. The rest all came from the good guys on the exchange!

The picture says it all. My CRK collection pictured in the order I bought them.

Very nice. I don't have one to share yet. I'm still trying to overcome my obsession with a particular BM knife, that I can't seem to stop buying :D
When I first looked at your picture, it really puzzled me. At first glance, the small box elder knife almost looked transparent, where the inlays are.
Seems it blends very well with the surface you used for the picture :D

Here are all of mine in order of purchase - none sold yet. B

1) Small Sebenza 21 Plain S35VN Single blue lug
2) Mnandi Snakewood Raindrop Damascus
3) Large Sebenza 21 Polished Titanium Macassar Ebony Inlay S35VN Single gold lug
4) Small Sebenza 21 Micarta Insingo S35VN Single silver lug
5) Large Sebenza 21 Micarta Insingo S35VN Single silver lug
6) Small Sebenza 21 Micarta S30V Double silver lug My everyday carry at home
7) Mnandi African Blackwood S30v My Friday office carry
8) Small Sebenza 21 Polished Titanium Macassar Ebony Inlay S35VN Single gold lug Just received yesterday! (20Feb)

The first two I bought new and the rest from the BF Exchange except #5. I will be downsizing soon though - I borrowed from other funds to buy the last two and I need to repay the funds back. I may also sell some of the Safe Queens. The ironic thing is that I cannot bring myself to use my first purchase, a plain Jane small Seb, nor sell it - even though it is the least valuable knife in my collection.

I am so envious. My first CRK was an Umnumzaan and I foolishly sold it. Now that I have experienced so many other knives I am longing for another CRK. In a perfect world I would have a large 21 and Large Insingo, but I would have to sell my entire collection to fund those two. I will be getting either a drop point 21 or Insingo in the next couple weeks. I am wanting one with inlays, but Im unsure if they are worth the cost...
What do you gentleman think?
