Anyone have one of these? Looks like a great hunting knife and I really dig the white micarta handle. Wondering if it's worth the price. Thanks

I agree, especially since if I like it I will be using it on deer. But, I like the design enough to overlook it

I wonder if the Limited Edition etch could be buffed out? Chucks signature looks classy on the back side. .Really anyone looking at this kind of knife will know it's limited. There is something about a mirror polished blade and the white Micarta and nickel silver that works so well together.

This one is standard finish on blade. Very nice knife.

Beautiful knife. I believe the wavy spine is just a jimping element. I really wish some of these limited editions would make it to standard production because I think they would sell.

Wow that's nice! So nice that I couldn't avoid using it if I owned one. Love that distressed leather sheath and the 154CM blade steel as well.I wonder why they selected 154CM for this knife? Bucks 154CM is one of my favorite blade steels.

cpm154 would be better.....but its nitpicking at best.

It is pretty, but I'm buying it as a user. If when I get it I don't like it, I'll sell it to a collector.

?? I may be reading this wrong but, if they were built to standard production, wouldn't that defeat the "Limited Edition" aspect of the knife?? Just Curious...

I don't think it would defeat the purpose of it being a Limited Edition. There have been Limited Edition 110's out there. What makes it a LE is that it's built to custom specs and usually in limited number. Imagine a standard production 405 with 420HC and micarta or wood scales.

Well, the changes you just mentioned are not "standard production" are they? I guess I don't understand your meaning of standard production?

I think I know what you're getting at Sass...

I would love to have another one of these, but with more "user" materials at a more "user" price. Perhaps Micarta and S30V. I love the size, shape and handle, it just doesn't need all the bling, laminated blade, or polish. It doesn't keep me from carrying or using it though.;)

If they made this without the ugly scrawling and etching and engraving.........just the plain knife in 420HC with traditional Buck stamps and PLAIN white Micarta........it would sell and be quite popular. A nice looking and useful knife.

Too bad they don't do things like that.
