I looked through the forum but didn't find your post with a picture of this knife. This is the newest collector blade from Buck and it's something else... pictures don't do it justice. BG-42 steel, Edge2000, nickle silver fixtures, sambar stag handle, presentation case, etc. MSRP $360

I picked up S/N 021 and it is being kept as delivered packaged up nicely in my safe. Since they are starting to hit the market I thought I'd mention it to tweak interest. It is viewable on the Buck home page... do a search for model 400.

I saw a lot of this model when I took a tour at the factory a while back, they were unfinished at the time, needing handles and such. But Jeff made a point of showing me, which was nice, since there was so much to see it would have been easy to miss. I liked the profile, it would be nice if there were also a lower priced user version. Congrats on getting one, Bob.
