You know what I think would be excellent? If Chuck and Clay would make a balisong training video. From basic moves to advance, I'd buy one! http://www.balisongxtreme.com is awesome and all, but it's just not the same as watching it on a big screen tv.

I would sure like to see that as well...I would sure be one the first ones in line to show others on my bigscreen, what someone can do, what I'm never gonna do with one of these pieces.

C'mon Most Excellent Bali Masters, give it some thought!

Phil

Man......... I don't know about Chuck, but at the rate I'm going it would take about 15 volumes to get everything on.

getting 'em open
is half the fun!

I agree.
Clay & Chuck should contact Paladin Press or Panther Videos.
There is a good market for Instructional videos.

That sounds like a great idea. It's already selling copies! I'll take a few, in case I want to watch it more than once...

I'm ready to buy! Multiple volumes? Excellent. Who needs a savings account at 18?

ok, one more bit of bladeshow buzz:

Nothing is final yet, but some preliminary discussions did take place.

Oh, and we'll not only show you the "rarely seen" tripple flip, but maybe a few more nice moves too.

Isn't it the "Amazing triple flip"? I was told that move was nothing but an ancient eastern myth

In the past, many people who have seen me do my stuff with a balisong have said I should make a video.I had given it some thought, but determined that if I ever did, there's no way in hell that I'd advertise myself as being a "master" of any sort (the "funny ad" thread reminded me of this),nor would I claim to have "secret" moves.

I wouldn't mind giving it a shot in the future, but since I lack the equipment & finances to do one...that would be a long time in coming.Hopefully though, within the next year I'll have a computer with the necessary stuff to do little videos like Clay & others here have done.I think it'd be more fun to share what I've learned over the years with my fellow Bali-nuts on this forum...for *free*

Although, one that could be shown on a big screen would be cool...that way you can really watch every little thing being done. The way I teach is done in "steps" for each move...followed by showing the whole move as smoothly as possible in as slow a motion as possible (and also the move done the way it should be as fast as possible).

My "inner puppy" made me do it..
