I was sorting through some old pictures on the computer to see what could stay or go and I found these.

This was a knife I got from Chuck Gedraitis at a show in Marlborough, MA back in 2006. The curves and the long, narrow blade really grabbed me when I saw it on his table. It had buffalo horn scales, nickel silver bolsters, anodized titanium liners, and the blade was Delbert Ealy damascus if memory serves. Very slim and lightweight. It was a pleasure to use on envelopes and other such tasks.

I don't recall if I ever posted these when I had the knife and figured a stroll down memory lane couldn't hurt. :)

Very nice...that is one hell of a long blade...what does it feel like in the hand?..it looks a beautifull knife...but I have to say...it looks very delicate as well?
Thank you for showing us this beaut!

It was quite comfortable in hand. The size of the handle in terms of circumference was probably equivalent to that of a standard rollerball pen like a Zebra or Pilot. I would say I treated it gently, though that was done in part because of the materials. If it'd been done in a regular stainless steel with micarta or hardwood scales it would perhaps not seem as delicate.

Very nice, and great horn patterning as well. Is it screw construction throughout?
