Hey all, this just came in today and I wanted to share. I custom ordered this folder from Mr. Gedraitis. I couldn't ask for a better experience. From idea to finished product the whole thing was a pleasure. Mr. Gedraitis is a heck of a knifemaker as well as a heck of a nice guy.

(hope this thread is in the proper place)

That is beautiful, I love his work. Congratulations on such a fine piece.

Thanks jwolf! The pics don't do it justice. I have barely put it down since it's arrival:p

It's sporting a 3 1/2 inch 1095 blade with hammon line, bronze bolsters with decorative lines, green mammoth ivory scales, with a bit of the same ivory placed in the thumb stud. It's his Clip point Slipjoint(man that's fun to say) made as a liner lock.

I'm sure I've left some stuff out. There's alot to this knife!

That is a absolutely great knife I am glad you are enjoying it (of course how could you not). Eventually I hope to get one of his balisongs.

Also given your location it must have been difficult to ship it to you.

It is a wonderful knife. Chuck does amazing work and I hope you get the opportunity to experience it.

As far as my location, not too difficult, just a few miles from the cornfields, stop before you hit the void. I'll be the guy sitting on his front porch with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, playing with a bunch of knives;):D

Congrats on a winner, RiverRat !
Dig the bronze bolster and poppin' hamon, NICE.

Doug

Thanks guys, I'm digging it too! Chuck is one of the nicest guys I've ever dealt with for sure:thumbup:

Awesome brother. Now have your sons name engraved on the back of the blade! I have a maker you need to check out who is making me something. PM me if you want details.
