you really put together a great piece, the "Spy Project." It really was funny and alot of work must have went into it. The little running commentary and snippets about each person was great.
That picture of Darrel Ralph sitting there with that absolutely INSANE Madd Maxx with one eyebrow raised and a cat-eating Canary smirk is such an absolute classic picture Chuck. You both should be proud of that one.
It was great to see the New Benchmade Bowie and Drop-Point Tanto next to a 42's blade for comparison. The black powder coat is neat, but the Bowie is what I'm looking forward to. It is indeed AWESOME. And, like you, the BM44's Flared-Out Tanto Point is not my cup of tea at all. Although I did own one at one time. This newer one is alot better. Considering that one in the future for purchase.
The idea of the Kris is off the Richter Scale of Excitement in my opinion. The Latchless is interesting, I guess I will have to send the latchless to Mr. Frank Cupero (I think that is his name) as I saw some of the filework he did on one of your 42s, on your site. I think I would have him filework the safe handle only though. But extensively. I think that would be neat...
The Tachyon next to the BM42 for Comparison was a Godsend, I was hoping you would do these things...and that leads us back to this...another Balisong that you compared in size to the 42.
The "I Spy" Balisong, or as the Creator refers to it, "The Roton." It all keeps coming back to that knife Chuck. For some reason, that one has put the hooks in me. Maybe it is because it is the only shot at ever having a new 45/48 again...that can be replaced.
With a Latchgate and a Switchable/Removeable Latch, this seems like the Cat's Meow to me.
In the original thread, the MSRP was listed at $150.00 has that now dropped to $99.99 (or other figure) as you said the goal was to make a good Balisong for under one hundred dollars?
When The Roton is finally available, are we going to get the heads up in here first?
Just random observations, a thank you and a couple questions.
