Hi gentlemen -

i have just started some interest in the knives of this maker.

Do you know of any pictures of his knives available ? Maybe a website i cannot find ??

Any help will make me happy !!

I stand corrected. Thanks guys.
Augsburg? Are you anywhere near Mainz? I spent 13 months there in the military and haven't had a good bratwurst since I left.

www.google.com turned up the following:
http://www.catalystpro.com/stapel/stapel.htm

and
http://www.bladeforums.com/features/shot/chuck.html

Both of those links are old info.

Here's one from Aug 2000: http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum4/HTML/001413.html

Doesn't look like the tracks of a dead or retired maker, unless something changed just recently

Chuck Staple is alive and well. He makes a lot of knives for the Grand Ole Oprey, BarbaraMandrell, etc. He lives in Southern Calif. and his knives are used by many in the film industry,.
Hope this helps,
