I've been drooling over the Cigar box classics for a while now and finally got the opportunity to pick up a Peanut (# 408) yesterday at a great price. I have to say that the fit and finish on this piece are incredible. The scales have some of the nicest jigging that I've seen since buying my Spyderco Kiwi and the green/brown contrast very nicely to the polished grooved bolsters. The brass liners and springs are highly polished and have no tarnish (like some of my OT's have had). The blades although not as sharp as they could be, but have great walk and talk without any rubbing or sticking. Even the packaging on this knife is great.
Try one, you'll like it,
Matt

Those cigar box knives do sound good! I've always liked the fit of their delrin handled knives, and I imagine that they would do a great job with bone.

Now, if only they could do some in 1095, that would rock!
