Cigar lighter/cutter

I like my Colibri Boss jet lighter with built-in cutter. Just be sure to NOT use Ronson fuel, only the better-grade stuff put out by Colibri and others. Over time, Ronson fuel will clog a good lighter, believe me! Gotta love a good cigar! Properly cut and lighted, of course.

I just use whatever knife I happen to have in my pocket to cut my cigars. This has given mixed results. So far, I've found the best cigar cutter to be the extremely thin plain edge blade on my Dyad Jr. The worst was probably my Harpy; that Spyderedge made a heckuva mess. The Sebenza works OK, though the blade is a little thick for that kind of work.

Yeah, Doc, I know, this is probably not specifically what you were looking for, but I'm just trying to share my experience with you. ;)

So far as lightin' 'em goes, I normally use either my Windmill lighter or a humble disposable. I don't use the Windmill on shorter cigars, though; I'm afraid I'd wind up burning my nose. That Windmill is hot!

Good advice fellas. Nathan I have used different knives like you - with mixed results! My SAK Tinker does a pretty good job and I am betting something like an Opinel would be really good.
Mnblade - like the idea of cutter and lighter in one package! Neat.
