hey guys,
i hope this wont be moved into another area because i trust this forums opinions more than most. a friend of my likes to use cigarette cases as wallets and her's recently broke. she asked me if i knew any good places to get one and i thought id ask here, since i dont smoke i was at a loss.

thanks.

p.s. i was thinking online places not just a local smoke shop.

I bought a friend a real nice one on-line...don't remember the site, but it was near the top of a google search.

you can try dealextreme.com if you don't mind ordering from Hong Kong. I've ordered some lights from them without any issues.

They seem to have a few different cases, and they are inexpensive enough to get her a few different ones.

Try some flea-markets. It's obviously hit and miss, but if you find an old one from the twenties, it'll be unique, and likely far better-made than most current offerings. Not to mention the cool art deco designs that were prevalent then!

riffraff has the gist of it. Antiquity shops, fleamarkets, ebay - get older ones from the "smoking is cool" haydays ('20's to '50's).

Better made for the money.

Every so often you can find sterling silver cases online (NOS usually).

BTW - it'll help when looking to have an idea what her old on looked like, noteably the latching mechanism.
