While I am no a Busse-forum kind of a guy, it has come to my attention that many of you are cigar connoisseurs (or perhaps aficionados?) Anyway I've got a buddy who I've worked with, worked for and who has worked for me, but recently He has set me up with some good business connections, and I'd like to thank him by sending him something that he would enjoy, Cigars.

Personally, I don't know a thing about cigars. I know that you can smoke them and that's about it :D He lives a few hundred miles away so I was hoping that there might be a web site that I could purchase a few cigars from and have sent to him. Any advice would be helpful. I'd like to spend less than $100.
Thanks

Send him Fuente Fuente Opus X

One of the Best gift cigars the planet. They are a real grail for some guys that love Cigars.

If you have trouble finding them.. Send me a PM and I will grab a few from my humidor..and send them to you.

I got a Humidor I filled with a box of Cuban Romeo E Julieta Cigars. They have been sitting there for so long (Humidor is almost maintenance free) that I almost forget I have them. I would send you a few, but Customs Officials don't like such things.

When I used to keep a humidor, it did not seem 'almost maintenance free'. I would love to learn what you have, and what you do, that makes it easy.

Take a look at active humidifiers like Cigar Oasis or Adorini Cigar Heaven. You get an info if your polymer is running out of water, so it´s just a breeze to keep the moisture level inside your humidor.

My wife picked the thing up in San Antonio when she was on a trip. I just keep a small jar with gel pellets that hold humidor water inside and the humidity stays at 70. I open the box when I remember to check, but it hardly ever needs water.

Maybe my Hygrometer is out of calibration, lol. Now you got me worried!

I believe the last cigars I purchased came from Cigars International. Great webstore with tons of options. Lately Jerry has got me hooked on a cigar called Isla Del Sol by Drew Estates. Nice mild smoke.

Another +1 for Fuente Short Story.
I've been smoking them for years and I love em.
Short enough to get you back to your work but long enough to satisfy.
and not terribly expensive for such a fine taste.

I second this. Opus X is excellent. Ghurka is also a fine smoke.

Arturo Fuente Hemingways are great, and Thompson Cigar in Tampa Florida can do the shipping for you.;)

Cigar international has a set called "The chosen one " I believe . Its about 40 really good cigars for around $100 . Check them out. I get a lot from them .

Back when I always kept a well stocked humidor,Cigar International had the best deals. The Romeo Y Julieta Cedro Deluxe No. 2 seemed to be pretty popular with my pals.

I like Gloria Cubana, the R5, 6, or 7 are nice, the Churchill, and they have one called the Torpedo that has a cone shaped tip. This one is called the Corona Gorda. I get this one for around $6/stogy at a local liquor chain store called Total Wine.

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys. At first glance the "chosen one" looks impressive. But I'm probably easily impressed haha.
I'm going to be researching on Cigar International tonight for sure.
