Last night I smoked a Romeo y Julieta Rothchild En Tubo. It, like all other RyJ smoked very nicely. This morning I tried a no band called "Cuban Rejects" which wasn't bad for $3. I also bought a Cuesta Rey Tuscany. I don't own a humidor, so if I don't intend on immediatly smoking it, I prefer the Al tube cigars. They get a wrap of electric tape around the cap to keep the moisture in.

I'm saving RyJ Churchill En Tubo for the day one of my Reese's Pieces come in the mail ;)

What are some other similar cigars, preferably tubed, that have a similar character to them? What do you guys smoke?

RyJ Bully is real good, I like them when I walk my dog in the evening. Give the Ashton Classic Crystal Belicoso a shot not bad.
A tasty one is the Ashton Double Magnum with a good cup of coffee in the morning, very enjoyable.

I (and the wife) usually smoke Black n Mild wood tips. We quit smoking cigarettes a month or 2 ago. I also dip Grizzly mint long cut, a can usually lasts me 5 days or so.

A good short smoke is the Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story, also the Padron Serie 1926 No.35 Maduro is exceptional.

One of my favorite cigars is the Arturo Fuente Hemmingway (my usual choices are the Signature or the Work of Art), especially in the maduro, which is difficult to get, as they only release the maduro a couple of times a year. As has been mentioned, the Padron 1926 is excellent.

Another cigar which is very, very good for the price is the Oliva V, which has a 94 rating but only costs about $7.00.

I work part time in a cigar shop (for the discount, not the money) and so I'm lucky in that I get to try a wide range of product.

The Oliva V are excellent cigars, I have a box of the double robusto in my humidor, very satisfying smoke.

Another good one is the Carlos Torano Casa series, I like the toro but they're all good.

And, although I own several, I don't use a cigar cutter, either. I just slice the end off with my knife.

I'm also a heretic in that I use a zippo to light my cigars.

I used my Cuda Maxx stiletto yesterday for my cutter. Used to be all about Zippo, but if I'm smoking in my house, I just use a propane torch on low flame. (old pic)

Great pic, hell of a way to light a cigar. I don't smoke in the house, the wife and kids protest to much, I get the garage and outdoors in general.
I use cutters and a punch, the punch is good for large No.7s La Gloria Cubana Serie R.

My wife smokes in the house too. Cigarettes are the only thing we smoked outside. I like the tasteless flame of the Bernzomatic, the sound is cool too. Which reminds me... maybe I should flame ano some Ti? hmmm :D

I get cigars from my sister in Costa Rica -- excellent smokes. Mexico also produces excellent cigars from around Vera Cruz. Cubanos are highly over-rated (and over-priced), although you can get them here in Canada.

I smoked a few cubanos in Iraq @ $3 each. I'd still take a Dominican any day.

Try the Arturo Fuentes, Chateau Fuentes. Cedar wrapped with a green ribbon. You don't need to pay extra for a tube.

I found a new favorite. Saint Luis Rey - Reserva Especial.
