I have that watch in the silver model and it is my second favorite watch. Ite a great piece. Get it, you wont be disappointed...

I don't own that particular watch, but I have good experience with Citizen its Eco-Drive watches. Great and accurate watches for good prices.

I am looking at the silver colored one designed for the US market. I have been getting into watches over the past few months and the Nighthawk is rated very well on watch forums (watchuseek.com). The one you pictured is the European version. If you notice, it does not say "Nighthawk" and the tick marks have different lume. I prefer the US one because of the lume, but others prefer the Europe one becuase the etching on the back looks better; but who sees the back?

I just want the black color is all

Right now my main watch is a casio pathfinder paw1500gb-1 which is all black with a digital face and orange detail

The pic is the forgein version the American model is called pathfinder

Nice Citizen but sometimes these watch faces get a little 'busy' with all of their functions and markings and such.

+1 A simple uncluttered face is really nice when you're busy and can tell the time with a quick glance. Unless you actually need to use those measurements and stuff daily.

I don't have the Nighthawk but I do have an EcoDrive by Citizen and I am very happy with it.

I like the look of the face

But I can see the idea of clutter thats why I am not a big fab of chronograph watches

The thing is I saw a review of the silver nighthawk and he said that from a distance when you just glance at the time you don't notice the small print and the time face is what stands out

I too prefer a clean dial. I think that reviewer has a valid point. I have a pilot watch which has a bit cluttered dial too, mostly because the 24 hour notation is printed on the dial too, besides the 12 hour notation. But if you take a quick look at the watch when it's on the wrist, you first notice the hands and the hour marks on the dial. If you look a bit closer and longer, you notice the details too.

Got an Eco-drive myself. As a matter of fact wearing it as I type and am very happy with it. Just remember to 'feed' it consistently and it just keep on ticking for many years to come.
