Civilian question

I just got a Civilian in trade. It is the aluminum handle model with ats-55, NIP with the paperwork still wrapped up, is this a rare knife? I can't really find to much about it when I search on the internet.

If it is dicontinued, how long has it been? Any idea of approximate worth?

is it SE or PE? an aluminum handle civvy is long disco'd, IIRC i have seen them on ebay go for pretty much money, maybe $250 or $300 IIRC. IIRC they were made in the mid '90s, maybe '97 latest. if it was plain edge it would be worth more, SE less.

It's SE, I didn't even know they made a PE version.
