CIVILIAN with Compression lock and kinetic opener

Ok ..At the Blade Show several of you..( hey DON!) came up to me to ask if the kinetic opener would be on other sPYDIES and I casnnot believe how many asked for,,yes..a CIVILIAN...
let me see if I got this..You guys want a full size Civilian with a compression lock AND a kinetic openeing ramp...I assume you intend to grab n lock with it closed as well..
I don't own a Civilian so I have no idea if its possible..EXCEPT all of you were so adamant that it was not only possible but the right thing to do....
hmmm Hey Vince. Sal..are you listening?? are these guys crazy or is it possible?

I know 2 very serious, law abiding dudes who carry Civilians. They would love it.

I know 2 very serious dude who would carry Civilians if the back lock was replaced with something more serious, like the Compression Lock. That would be more positive, safe and faster opening, very smooth on the Gunting.

The Kinetic Opener is a fast opener even using the thumb.

The red handled Civilian Trainer was a refreshing turn coming from Spyderco as well, maybe in the future we won't have to grind down the edges and points and smooth them out because we will be able to purchase several Trainers, different models...the way to go.

This is indeed, the way to go, as people are using these knives for defensive purposes anyway, and always have.

Nice work too...
