Just wanted to say that I had some issues with the button on the Cogent. talked with customer service and they sent me a whole set of hardware from China to France, now it's a perfect Specimen ! Thanks for helping customers !

It's a difficult truth that production goods will occasionally be imperfect even from the best manufacturers, but that's a perfect resolution

Is there perhaps an upgraded WE variant that will be available? I love that WE knives offers a budget line but I personally have moved on to the WE line for most of my purchases. I like the upgraded steels and handle materials but I wouldn't turn my nose up to a Civivi if they had some m390/20cv or S35vn, S110V, or S45v models. Just love those steels that I can just strop back to razor status as I am absolutely abysmal at sharpening knives. Seriously I couldn't sharpen a knife to the point that it'd cut water and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. lol

I've noticed that they often release a WE knife with a similar or exactly the same blade shape. The WE Snick is the one I associate with the Cogent.
However, it's always Ti Framelock.

The WE Snick, the Relic and Cogent from Civivi, and the Sencut Snap all have variations of that same blade shape.

The Cogent is a lot like one of their early framelock designs, they had it in I think two sizes and full titanium or with carbon fiber inlays but I can't recall the model numbers. 6 something
