How it fits in your EDC rotation?

It’s been in my pocket about once every 5-6 days depending. A great larger but light EDC. Not large like a ZT or something else overbuilt, but longer blade and a full handle.
Haven’t pushed it hard, but it rides nicely in the pocket.

Side note: wishing Civivi would consider wire pocket clips. Am I alone? They just work well, never scratches anything, and doesn’t create hotspots as easily. Would be even nicer if there is a way to tail-mount or spacer-mount so they are ambidextrous without having to drill holes on the scales.

I'm a little behind on projects but I have a pair of Conspirators waiting for a scale swap.

I totally agree on the wire clips. Don't get me wrong. I like the standard deep-carry loop-over that shows up on a lot of the WE and Civivi knives. They work for me and flush-fitting screws take them to the next level. However, wire clips do have advantages. The rounded edges are naturally ergonomic. They can be easier on pockets. They have a minimalist look, especially when looped over for deep carry. The standard way of attaching is typically slots alongside a larger single screw. That not only means less hardware but could also promote a full transition to T8 hardware.

That may also help to avoid the temptation of recessing the current style of clips into the scale, which often results in those horrid recesses or filler plates on the show side. 🤮 Sure, some companies use a fill plate with wire clips that is like a collar with a line on each side. Somehow, that doesn't seem as bad as a rectangular island of steel haphazardly floating in my scale material.

Absolutely. I’m not really complaining about the current deep carry clip. When countersunk, it works well. Better than a lot. But it occasionally catches and scratches just like any other pocket clip of this style does.
I really like wire clips because it is all very rounded (don’t scratch ANYTHING), very unobtrusive, and more discrete (I work at a university, so discretion is preferred). It also doesn’t seem to catch and unbend as much as regular flat clips do for some reason.

Got mine a few days ago. Fantastic knife. Had to get a Subjugator when I saw one, and then saw the Conspirator and the similar design and had to have one as well. The only complaint I had was the heel of the blade wasn't sharpened the best, but I have fixed it and the whole blade is a razor now. Nitro V sharpens easily. Little bit of lock stick, but that should work itself out and it's not a big deal. Pocket clip is a bit tight but I've been working on it to get it loosened up a little. Has left a slight indent in the micarta, again, not a big deal.

Overall, amazing knife, great quality, and stands right up there with the more expensive Subjugator, and completely destroys some other companies knives in the price category, as Civivi/WE always do. Looking at getting a Chevalier next...really like the blade shape on that.

Hey this is off topic but I cannot DM you. Does WE knives plan on bringing back the Deacon models or do they have any old stock for same? It was such a nice knife, no clue why it got discontinued.

what size Skiff bearings do these take?
5m or 3/16?

It takes the 5mm, 1/16", 11-ball ceramics. I use them in mine.

Steve finally got a list going:
