Civivi Hooligan stiff action

Hello first time posting so hopefully I’m in the correct spot. I recently purchased a Civivi Hooligan and the action on it is extremely tight, to the point where I can’t even open with thumb stud. I Have owned numerous Civivi’s and never had a problem. As anyone had this issue or know of a solution? I’ve tried adjusting pivot and lubricating.

Take it apart and make sure everything is as it should be - that the pivots line up and nothing is bent etc. And that it all goes back together without having to force anything.

I had a customer with another liner lock issue recently, where the blade was not centering until the pivot was so tight the blade would not open normally. It had a bent pivot and it would only snap itself together properly when the pivot screws were tightened.
