How do the Civivi knives compare to the We knife budget models?

I remember buying one in d2 for $100 and thought it was absolutely fantastic.

It's slightly confusing since the cutoff line seems to be right around 100usd, anything above are marketed as We knives but below are Civivi.

But right around the 100 mark, I am guessing the knives have comparable quality.

I have a Thraex (We) and a Praxis (Civivi). While the Thraex feels more like a tactical folder with thicker blade stock and girth, the Praxis feels more...knifey, a better slicer due to the thinner stock. It also has a better flipping action. I thought We had dropped their budget line to just make the Civivi knives?

Whether they did or did not drop the budget line, I simply asked to see how they were comparable because I’ve had one of the WE budget knives before, and was looking at the Civivi line. Simply a comparison

well, that's what I did, didn't I? the Thraex is a budget line We, Praxis is a Civivi. I do prefer the Praxis due to a more efficient thinner stock and better flipping action, and better price too.

I had a Civivi McKenna, wasn't really impressed. I have a Laconico Keen that was also manufactured by WE that is amazing though, and it's closer to $100 new, but I don't know if that one counts as a WE knife to you.
