I just got the new Blade Mag.(July issue) and saw an article on CKCA. I just skimmed through it and saw pic's of Kevin Jones, Steven Garsson, and Larry Bailey.(). I'll read the whole thing tonite. It mentions their meeting at the Blade Show in May 29-31. There is a pic of CKCA's 2009 calender aranged by Buddy Thomason and knife photographs by Jim Cooper. It mentions CKCA's vision of an international custom knife organization with collectors, makers, dealers and other knife professionals. CKCA is concerned with protecting knife owners rights.
There is a picture of the beautiful Bowie made by Jerry Fisk, Don Hanson, Russ Andrews, and John White. It will be sold via raffle with the proceeds going to prostate cancer research.
I would like to thank CKCA for the great work they are doing for knife collectors.

I just got my copy of Blade and just finished reading the article. It is well written and informative.

The article does not show the CKCA Collaboration Bowie that is to be auctioned for prostate cancer. The two knives shown in the article are a Jerry Fisk MS fighter from the last Fisk Microshow and a JR Cook MS Bowie.

Acccording to Larry Bailey the Collaboration Bowie has been sent to Chuck Ward to be photographed. Hopefully we will see it soon. I am sure that it will be spectacular.

Yeah, I need to read this soon also. Great to see some words on it and pictures of familiar faces.

It's always nice to get good press. I don't have the magazine yet, but will look forward to reading this article.

I just got my copy of the magazine, and skimmed through the article. I will read it today. I was so excited to see that in there.

Thanks Robb for the heads-up and preview of the article. We knew it was going to be in this month's issue, but didn't really know what the final content and layout was going to be.
Just received mine and am very pleased. As others have said its informative and well written.

We really appreciate the support and positive exposure Steve Shackleford and all the folks at Blade has given the CKCA in our first year.
