CKF decepticon 1 thoughts?

Hi Churry, it's not the best choice for EDC knife. Friend of mine have one and he's using it every day....
You won't understand our language but you can take a look at the photos and I am sure 99% you will see the problem (post #69 - page 3)

It looks like it has an inordinate amount of parts, which obviously makes reassembly challenging. It seems complicated for the sake of being complicated, though being a "decepticon" I guess that comes with the territory.

The long and short of it is that it is definitely not something I would buy, especially at that price point.

While i dont own a decepticon, i do own a knife from the brand and imho they make a great product. Some tend to get hung up on the fact that they have some if not all the rough milling done in china and then the knives are finished and assembled in russia. So some thing its a bit expensive for a knife with roots in china. I however feel the quality is what determines price and they are making knives that really are worth the askong price. Is the dexepticon over the top? Sure is. But i think that was the point. and as to it being overpriced? Ask yourself what it would cost to have that made in the USA. And not just made in the usa but to the level of fit and finish they are producing them at and to me its not a bad deal at all.
