Just got one the other day from a auction site and it was marked used. All but one of the reg. sites were out of stock. The one they had was full price @ $370.
This knife sparked my interest as it was everything I was looking for in another folding knife. Doing a bit of research on it , all I read was positive. This knife was a bit larger then what I usually want in a EDC. The knife was listed as being carried a few times, having a small scratch on the pivot and the blade had never been sharpened. The listing was accurate and was in excellent condition IMO.
Most knives that I purchase are new and I almost always find I want to improve on something. It could be making it lighter, polishing the pivot washers. making a low rider pocket clip and always putting a more refined edge on it.
Going over the knife I found nothing I wanted to change. The flipping action was better then my Brad Southard. Absolutely no wrist action required when opening the knife from any position. This knife for its size I feel is quite light at 4.48 oz. The contoured carbon fiber scales look great and are not as slippery as my ZT0770. The design of the pocket clip does not have the knife sticking to high out of the pocket for me and I have made low rider clips for a few of my knives. I did notice that when I went to feel the tension on the clip it did not return to the same position as before. A little pressure returned it to almost touching the scale. I don't like my clips so tight that my jeans get worn in a short time. This clip slides over the pocket edge without any force. Clip is not high and has a great design which allows for the transition in and out of the pocket with ease. It still holds the knife firmly in place.
I find no sharp edges that need to be addressed. The blade also does not have a sharp edge. This comment was found as I read thru other posts. It would not grab my nail or slice newspaper or copy paper. This did not bother me as I always refine the edges on new knives. I did look at the edge under a glass and it did not show any signs of being sharpened or use as far as I could tell. First I used a sharpie on both edges and put it to a spyderco at 30 degrees to get a idea of the angle on the blade. One side cleaned the sharpie off with a few strokes where the other side only touched high on the edge. It does seem when the mfg. is putting a edge on this knife, more attention is really needed. This blade seems a bit harder then others I have so I proceeded to my Kalamazoo with a new 600 grit belt. Did not take long to get edge to 30 degrees inclusive. I decided not to go any finer with my belts and finish off with a 1'x42" leather belt w/ white compound to remove any burrs then on to a diamond spray compound strop of .05 micron then .25 micron. The edge pops arm hair and glides thru paper.
The following are some of the spec's on the knife:

Contoured carbon fiber scales
Anodized titanium hardware, liner, clip and back-spacer
