That about covers the show. Once again, we all bought knives. I picked up my Crawford Wortac,

wyrm got an Elishewitz Oracle, Spyderco Lil Temperence, and he ordered a Murray St-Amour

cockroachfarm bought everything in site, again (I SWEAR that I got a picture of him paying again…I haven’t developed it yet though). cockroachfarm is a a steadfast and quiet supporter of many Canadian makers.

Murray bought a Microtech LCC. BTW, Murray wore his new Bill Burke Pronghorn throughout the show…WARNING: NEVER say the following in public “Murray, I like your big Pronghorn, can I play with it when we get back to your place?”

The presence of so many new makers was a breath of fresh air and we - mere show attenders - declared the show a success. Thank you CKG, thank you knife makers, thank you collectors - and thanks to all those people who support these shows just by attending, especially the first timers.

Excellent show info !

And Superb pic's ! !

Thanks for taking the time to share with us ! ! ! :)

as I'm sure most know, I own very few production knives but do have a rather extensive custom collection. In addition to an Elishewitz Benchmade Mini Stryker, a Kershaw Ken Onion Boa, I have added a very fine knife from Microtech--the Greg Lightfoot LCC. This is quite a remarkable knife and certainly along with the other production pieces shows the influence the great custom makers have had upon factory knives in North America.

anyone wanting to see more photos from the show can point to

and go to knife collection. there are a variety of albums of knives there including Knife shows. I'm sure you will enjoy the browsing time.

Well done!! RL :)

You are an asset to the local Canadian knife community.

Great to see someone so enthusiastic(sp?) and passionate about knives. As we all are, I'm sure! :D

RL, thank you very much for the time and effort you put forth in sharing this with us. It was excellent!

I almost fell over laughing when I heard you say this - because it reminded me of a visit to a very upscale fly fishing store with a friend of mine from England. He was standing behind me, flexing a rod that didn't quite suit his requirements. I was standing next to a woman at a counter, looking at some pre-tied flies. Suddenly, he stood right behind me, and said loudly - and innocently - "Wow, just feel how stiff THIS is!" As I turned around to laugh, I saw the woman's face and it was the deepest shade of crimson I have ever seen. I guess she had more on her mind than a Royal Coachman!:D

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I'd like to say thanks to my co-authors, Murray White and cockroachfarm for their photography/editing help.
