Years ago there was some discussion on this, but I forget what the feelings were about it, and they may have changed now. I have collected the holiday 110s in the tins which mostly came in the plastic clam packs. I have left most of them unopened that way. Anyone think there is any harm to the knife by doing so? I have considered opening them to reduce storage space, but I do like keeping them totally NIB in the clam package. There was some talk about this causing possible damage to the knife due to release fumes from packaging inside? What are your thoughts and experience with leaving them in the clam pack for long term storage? Thanks!
