Inquiring for a friend...
Has anyone seen this fixed blade "CLAPP" knife before? Any idea who the maker might be?
As I cannot locate anything, my thoughts are it might be an early commercially produced private labeled knife made for a manufacturing plant by one of the large cutlery companies.

(Can't get photos to post... Admin please advise. Thanks!)

To post pictures as a registered user, upload them to a picture hosting site. I use Imgur, but there are others.
Once uploaded, copy the web address of the picture (typically ends in .jpg or similar). Then go to your post and click the picture tool on the toolbar. (It's next to the smiley tool.) Paste the address into the tool, and click the "insert" button.

Post a picture of the entire knife and one of the markings in question. Place them on a plain background so that the camera focuses on the knife. If there are other markings, post those also. Usually the pictures taken without the use of a flash are better for this sort of thing.

Okay... So, can't simply upload direct from my PC.
Must establish an account at a third party image site,
then upload them from there.
Thanks!

Only with a $30/year Gold membership or above can you upload directly.

With your free membership you will need to use a third party image site.

However you do not necessarily have to establish an account with this free third party image hosting site.

Here is a step by step easy process for you to upload pictures to your postings.

Just follow this link.

Best of luck to you and welcome to BladeForums.
