If an OP posts that they are interested in a particular knife that is largely "out of stock," is it appropriate to post a link in response to a vendor site where it is available? Price is not the consideration; only availability...

If this practice is frowned upon, please advise!

Then the OP can acknowledge that he has rec'd the info (and/or item) and update or close the thread as warranted.
