Clarification of the Rules.

Howdy, can a mod please clarify how a day is specifically defined as it pertains to the once per day per forum rule. I posted a knife on Tuesday 6/11/24 10:02pm. I then posted another at 6/12/24 2:02pm. My second listing was consolidated with my first yet they were posted on two separate calendar days. The rules as written do not specify a specific time between postings moreso that they be on different days. Could a mod explain this to me, please. Thanks for your time.

  1. Consolidate your 'like" items into a single thread. If you have multiple knives to sell, post them in a single thread. Or you can do different threads on different days. You are only allowed 1 sales thread, per day, per forum. If you list an item and it sells, don't start another thread in the same section until the next day. If a moderator consolidates your threads, edit the title and make any changes you need to. DO NOT START AN ALL NEW THREAD! Let's keep it fair for everyone.
 
Since the members/mods are all in different time zones one thread per 24 hours is the only way to keep things fair.
 
Howdy Rycen, thank you for responding. I agree, that would keep things fair and could easily be enforced as posts are time stamped. A simple amendment specifically stating that would make it clear and consistent for all users. However in my particular instance I followed the rule as it is currently written. I waited well until the "next day" to make a post hence I only made one post per "day". I had one post for Tuesday and one for Wednesday. Going forward I will keep that in mind but I respectfully ask that the rules be specifically stated so that I and others can objectively abide by them. Thank you again for the response and I appreciate your time.
 
I'm not going to harp on this. Generally 6/11 vs 6/12 should be fine unless it's like 3 hours apart. If it gets combined it happens

Spark Spark , not to be contrary, but it's a bit of a hassle for us, Frank, Carl, Rycen and me, if we're all interpreting things slightly differently.

We've pretty much gone along with Rycen's 24 hour interpretation as it makes sense and can be easily explained. I, for one, would like to see it posted that separate sales threads in any particular Exchange category must be a minimum of 24 hours apart. It will save us from giving different explanations to different members, and respectfully, we're the ones dealing with it multiple times, (each), daily.

So...help a brother out here. (Or not.)
