Clarification on Re-posting the Same Item

I need help on re-posting the same item from an earlier thread that is well over 2 weeks old. Can a put up a new thread, or do I have to modify my old thread?

You can put up a new thread after two weeks.

Feel free to copy and paste anything useful from the old one, should you wish. (Also, it's a good idea to lock the old one.)

Also wouldn’t hurt to put “ended” or “closed” in the old thread title.

For sure. It's just nice to put something in the title so guys and gals who are click happy will easily know at a glance that there's nothing left in the thread for them. Like a courtesy.
