This may not be the venue for this but everyone needs to know about how our freedoms are being eroded. This is bad.

For anyone who hasn't heard the news there is a rancher in Nevada being harassed by the Federal Government to leave his land. They are stealing, starving, and killing his cattle and separating calves from their mothers. The government has agents with snipers on hilltops and armed men everywhere. They have set up "first amendment areas" three miles away from where protesters are. You heard that right "first amendment areas." Militias are converging on the scene from Nevada and Texas. I have a feeling it might get ugly but I also have a feeling it might have to. I'm just posting this information wherever I can for people to see and research it for themselves. I won't post any links because I don't know which ones are okay to post but just Google it. Keep your rights people, please, by any means necessary. I want to be there so bad but have no wheels. It's okay I'll play my role and inform for now.

A lot of California college campuses have "First Amendment areas", which is such a perversion of the first amendment, my head is spinning like a top.

For my own clarification, what are these areas and what are they used for? Protesting?

Charon 2112 is right, there is a lot more to this. To start with, it is NOT his land. I am all for fighting for our rights, however, we need to be careful what fights we pick (this from a Nam mac-sog, so I know a bit about what I'm saying).

this is what its about..Bundy violating a 1993 Bureau of Land Management ruling which changed grazing rights in order to protect the endangered desert tortoise.
people are ready to kill an die over an endangered desert tortoise.there has to be some medium here.he has 600,000 acres, cant we just do 5 acre fenced plots strategically placed over his land for the turtles,or just kill the family an take his land.

Closed for obvious reasons.
