Thinking about getting a pair. Leaning towards the brown suede or beeswax leather (maybe both). Its a bit dry here in Kali so probably go with the suede. Nonetheless, does anybody have any comments about these or a good source with the best price? All the online stores have them priced the same.

They're very comfortable and well made, but if they haven't changed their sole material lately it wears out pretty quickly on concrete or rocky surfaces.

I can't seem to find a desert boot style shoe that lasts very long. Either the soles wear out, or as in the case of the current ones I own, the sole is fine and the uppers are all cracked and falling apart! Mind you this after 2 years of pretty hard use.

The Clarks ones are pretty good apart from the crepe soles.

I tend to wear desert boots for about 8 months of the year so they get worn when it is wet on the ground as well as dry and the crepe soles are mega slippy with any sort od moisture on concrete or flag stone type surfaces.
