I was fortunate enough to snag some great Claro Walnut with crotch-flame figure and put it to good use. I've made this blade pattern a few times now - I just keep gravitating to it. Different handle and guard treatment each time which is always fun. I hit the blade with some more Flitz after I posted the photo, but I was too busy to re-shoot it! Bill Flynn will probably chastise me for not using Koa, but that's OK.....its all in good fun. :D All comments welcome.:)

Happy Holidays to all!

That is beautiful TK, it looks like it grew out of someone's hand. Nicely done.

That one sings, TK. Just beautiful.. Next time try a little trailing point and recurve shape to your sheath. The interior won't change but the exterior shape will enhance the knife even more.

Will do Paul - thanks for sharing your knowledge. :)

Actually.....I like claro walnut too, and the way the grain matches the handle curve is perfect in my opinion !

The rest of the knife is also pretty nice :D
