Which do you prefer? I personally used to prefer the regular but now I definetely prefer the classic. Either way, you can't go wrong.

kutch133,

Need to add. . .for guys like me. . ."c. Can't make up mind !"

;)

Hmmm, that's sort of like asking me if I prefer the Ferrari or the Lamborghini ;)

I used to follow the general rule: Classic for a small, Regular for a large. Having held all the variations now, though, my preferences are as follows:

For non-wood Sebbies, I have to say that the Classic is my favorite style...with the regular style a close second.

For wood-inlay Sebbies, I prefer the looks of the regular style...with the Classic style a close second.

However, I should add the caveat that my preferences are purely based on visual aesthetics. If I had to do a blindfolded comparison, I don't believe that I would prefer one over the other.

I think that the regular is more asthetically pleasing. (Boy, I'm not sure if I spelled that right.) I own several large and small plain Sebenzas but I have not had the opportunity to handle the classic versions yet. Do they actually feel better?

Thanks,

Jason

In the wood patterns its the regular all the way for me! I just prefer the single piece of wood over two seperate.

Otherwise its the Classic shape I prefer the most. Lets be honest though, neither is exactly bad is it? I could live with either in a pinch:cool: :D ;)

Before I ever handled a Sebenza I thought that the Classic had the best look. Then, 12 days ago I had the chance to handle both styles and decided that the Regular was easier to cycle and fit my hand better.
Last Wednesday I bought my first Sebenza:D, a large N.I.C.A. Tanto:cool:, from Jesse @ World of Knives in Hopkins, MN:):):). It's become my EDC, bumping my Spy. Blue Lum Chinese Folder to a display piece. Next step is to decide what style of G2 sheath to get for it.

I will hopefully be able to tell you by the end of the week when me new large lefthanded classic arrives from the States HOORAY

It has left Washington Dulles and should be over this side of the pond by now.

Why do couriers not update their track & trace systems every second :D

Now it just has to avoid the dreaded customs on the way

Classic all the way, Baby! I just love the way it feels in the hand more. I tend to like a pointier blade anyway, and the more pronounced finger choil feels better to me.
