Most around here share a love of simple, working tools. Hence the popularity of the much-lauded Sodbuster, a simple, single blade knife ideal for working with.
The large, single blade knife is still the most popular working knife today, in my opinion (dedicated knife rather than mullti-tool) in the form of the Buck 110. Also, the popularity of models like the Spyderco Delica/Endura, Kershaw Needs Work/ JYD, and Benchmade Mini-Grip/Grip for hard-work knives.
Thing is, I have a Sodbuster. I have an Endura. I'm going to get a 110 (one of these days) and will probably get a BM sometime soon. What I want is a big, single blade knife that is a little bit different.
Yes, I'm talking about a clasp knife, or a clasp knife lookalike. Something with a broad clip point blade and a big handle. Handle materials can vary- although Micarta would be pretty darn cool.
Thing is, it has to be 1) In production 2) Preferably made in US and 3) Cheap. Under $60.
Any suggestions?
