Originally, the "CLASSIC MM" inscription was to be exclusive to the classics made during the year 2000 only according to CRK literature I have.
Apparently that thinking has changed and all classics have the marking regardless of when made.
It would have made for a nice limited run had the original plan been followed.
Still a great knife!

well up till 2999 we r still in the 2nd thousand AD year range.
at least it will be accurate for the next
